Norwich City suffered a 2-1 defeat to Claudio Ranieri’s Leicester City this afternoon in a thrilling game at Carrow Road.

Leicester City took the lead in the 28th minute courtesy of a Jamie Vardy penalty after City defender Sebastien Bassong brought the Englishman down in the box.

2 minutes into the second half and Leicester doubled their lead through Jeffrey Schlupp as he fired low past John Ruddy.

Norwich brought on striker Dieumerci Mbokani with an hour on the clock and he netted his first goal for the Canaries since joining them from Dynamo Kiev in the 68th minute.

Norwich couldn’t find that crucial equaliser and the game finished 1-2.
