Norwich submit a new offer for Wolves striker

This morning, Jim White from Sky Sports is reporting that Norwich have made a renewed offer for Wolves striker Benik Afobe. A reported first bid was submitted last week but clearly that offer was rejected and Norwich have made another in a hope to bring Afobe in before the deadline.

A product of the Arsenal youth academy, Afobe is one of the Championship stars at the moment because of his impressive goal record. He scored 12 goals for Wolves at the backend of last season’s Championship campaign. Before that he spent a period at MK Dons where he scored 10 goals for the club.

Norwich are still in the hunt for a striker as the transfer window reaches its last few days. Will it be Afobe, or will there be yet another twist and turn in what appears to be a never-ending tale, as to who will be Norwich’s new number 9.
